Stars of Storage Wars, Jarrod Schultz and Brandi Passante, have found themselves in trouble with the law. Passante, now the ex-lover of her once on-screen partner Schultz, was spending time with friends at a bar in Orange County when Schultz suddenly arrived. The pair got involved in a tense argument at the watering hole. Although Passante asked Schultz to leave, he refused to comply and even shoved his ex a few times – now, Schultz has been arrested on domestic violence battery charges for the attack on his ex-wife and on-screen partner.

According to what a law enforcement source from Orange County told TMZ, Schultz lost control of himself during the heated exchange. Although he was not arrested at the scene of the crime, Passante called in the attack, and police questioned Schultz a few days later. Despite numerous eyewitness accounts to the contrary, Schultz denied having assaulted Passante at the Orange County bar.

When police arrived at the bar, Schultz had already fled the location. However, Passante submitted a police report, which confirmed that her ex-partner had shoved her twice in front of witnesses.

Although Schultz claimed that he never harmed his ex-partner, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office has sided with the victim. They have listened to Passante’s testimony and charged her ex-partner with one count of misdemeanor domestic violence battery.

Schultz and Passante were known as “the young guns” on A&E’s Storage Wars. They’ve appeared on twelve seasons of the show together. But for the premiere of season thirteen, Passante confirmed that the pair have split and would be bidding independently from each other on the show. Fans were devasted to learn that the pair had split up and that they would no longer be working together to hunt for treasure and valuables in abandoned storage units.

“I’m not with Jarrod anymore,” Passante said on April 20, 2021, episode. She also confirmed that she and Schultz had ended their relationship after filming closed on the twelfth season back in November 2018.

Even though the pair were identified as husband and wife on the Storage Wars show, this was never true. The pair had never married and were simply business partners with a love interest. They do share two children, Cameron and Payton.

TMZ contacted Jarrod Schultz for comment regarding his attack on Passante in Orange County on April 30, 2021. However, he has not responded to these requests and has decided to remain silent on the charges against him – at least for now.

The thirteenth season of Storage Wars includes many of the stars that helped make the program famous for the A&E network. Returning celebrities for this season include Dan and Laura Dotson, Brandi Passante, Jarrod Schultz, Darrell Sheets, Kenny Crossley, Rene Nezhoda, Casey Nezhoda, and Ivy Calvin and his sons, according to a press release from A&E. One noticeable person missing is the “yup” man, Dave Hester. There is no further information about why he is not returning for this season. It was said that Sheets came out of retirement to participate in the thirteenth season of the reality show.
